History
The Civil Air Patrol has long been in Bay City, Texas.
The first squadron established in Bay City was the Bay City Cadet Squadron, which was established back the early 1960's. The
commander of that squadron was Lt. Col. Harry Shannon. The Bay City Composite Squadron plans on keeping the tradition of the
CAP in the area.
